Read Ephesians 1:19–20
The same divine power that raised Jesus from the grave is the power that brings us from spiritual death to life. Salvation is not the result of human willpower, good intentions, or natural disposition—it is the irresistible work of God’s Spirit. Just as no grave could hold Christ, no sin or power of hell can prevent God from transforming a heart when He calls.
This resurrection power is:
Irresistible – Sin, corruption, and Satan cannot stop the work of God’s grace.
Glorious – Every conversion brings honor to God and shame to the powers of darkness.
Everlasting – Just as Christ cannot die again, those made alive in Him are given eternal life and will not return to their old ways.
United with Christ – The same power that raised the Head (Christ) is at work in His body (the Church). Our new life is hidden in Him.
Because He lives, we live also. Let us walk daily in that newness of life, remembering that we are no longer bound by death, but empowered by the Spirit to live for God’s glory.
Reflection for Today
The power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power at work in you. Are you living in the strength of that resurrection life?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the mighty power that raised Jesus from the dead and is now at work in me. Help me to live not in my own strength but in the victory of Your resurrection power. Keep me walking in newness of life, for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
