Read Daniel 11:32
One of the greatest strengths a follower of Jesus can have is a deep, personal knowledge of God. Not just knowing facts about Him—but truly knowing Him. That kind of relationship makes you spiritually unshakable.
When you know God, your faith grows. The Holy Spirit Himself teaches us, opening our eyes to truth. And the more we understand, the more our trust in Him deepens—just as you trust a friend more the better you know them.
Knowing God also strengthens your love. You can’t truly love someone you don’t know. But as you discover more of Jesus—His kindness, His sacrifice, His mercy—your heart will be drawn to Him. It’s like looking at a beautiful painting: the more clearly you see, the more you treasure it.
It also fuels your hope. If you don’t know what God has promised, how can you look forward to it? Hope is like a telescope—it lets you see ahead, but only if you know where to look. God’s Word shows us the glory that awaits, filling us with joy as we wait.
Even patience grows through knowing Him. When you understand His heart and His purposes, it’s easier to trust Him in the middle of hardship.
In fact, every spiritual strength—faith, love, hope, patience, peace, joy—flows from knowing God more.
So if you want to be strong in your walk with Jesus, draw near to Him. Read His Word. Talk to Him in prayer. Listen for His voice. Learn His ways. Love Him more.
And remember—the people who know their God will be strong.
