To truly know God is the greatest knowledge we can have—and it gives real strength to His people. When we know Him, our faith grows, because the Holy Spirit teaches us truth and builds us up.
Knowing God also deepens our love for Him. We can’t love someone we don’t know. The more we understand who Jesus is, what He has done, and what He is doing now, the more our hearts will be drawn to Him.
This knowledge strengthens our hope. We can’t look forward to something we don’t know exists. God’s Word reveals His promises so that we can cling to them with confidence.
It also gives us patience. When we understand Christ’s compassion and God’s purpose in our trials, we can endure with trust instead of despair.
Every part of the Christian life—faith, love, hope, and patience—grows stronger as we grow in knowing Jesus. That’s why it’s not enough to grow in grace alone; we must also grow in truly knowing Him.
The more you know Him, the more unshakable your strength will be.
