Read Matthew 9:6
Jesus isn’t just a great teacher or healer—He is the one who has full authority to forgive sins. Even when He walked on earth, before He went to the cross, He had the power to forgive people. And now, after His death and resurrection, His power is limitless.
Think about it: Jesus fully paid the debt for every sin on the cross. He didn’t leave a single one unpaid. His resurrection proves that the payment was accepted by God. Right now, He sits at the Father’s right hand, showing His scars, reminding heaven and earth that the price for our forgiveness has been completely covered.
No sin is too deep, too dark, or too many for Him to forgive. Whether your past feels stained crimson red or your heart feels too broken to repair—His blood can make you clean instantly. You don’t have to wait. You don’t have to “earn” it. The work is already finished.
At this very moment, Jesus can speak a word over your life and give you peace with God—peace that no one can take away. The question is: will you come to Him and receive it?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I believe You have the power to forgive me completely. I bring You every sin, every failure, and every regret. Wash me in Your precious blood and fill me with Your peace. Thank You for finishing the work of my salvation on the cross. Today, I receive Your forgiveness and choose to walk in freedom. Amen.
