God Raises Up the Right People

In Zechariah’s vision, he first saw four powerful horns, symbols of forces that had scattered and oppressed God’s people. It must have seemed overwhelming. But then he saw four carpenters—God’s chosen workers to break the horns and restore His people. Notice the timing: first the problem, then the solution. God never sends His workers before they are needed, but always at the perfect moment.

This reminds us that no matter how strong the opposition seems, God always raises up the right people to do His work. They might come from unexpected places, humble beginnings, or hidden lives, but God’s plan is never hindered. We need not worry about the weakness of His church or the scarcity of faithful servants. God has His “carpenters” ready—ready to defend, restore, and bring victory in His perfect timing.

Reflection for Today:Am I trusting God to provide the right help at the right time? Do I believe He can raise up workers, even in unexpected places, to accomplish His purposes?

Prayer:Lord, thank You that You are never unprepared. Even when I face overwhelming challenges, You have the right people ready to help and defend Your work. Teach me to trust Your timing and to be faithful in my own calling, knowing You will raise up workers for Your glory. Amen.
