Read Exodus 3:7
Just as a child is comforted by saying, “My father knows,” we too can find peace in knowing that our loving Lord understands everything we go through.
The ways Jesus cares for us are many:
Jesus is the Great Physician – He knows what we need even when we don’t understand. Just as patients don’t need to analyze every medicine or symptom, we don’t need to figure out every detail of life. It’s our job to trust, and His job to heal and guide. Even if His ways seem mysterious now, one day we will see how perfectly His care was working all along.
Jesus is the Master – Our role is to obey, not to question every step. A builder doesn’t reveal every detail of his plan to the workers, yet the finished work proves his wisdom. In the same way, God is shaping us like clay in the hands of a skilled potter. We may not understand His design, but we can trust His purpose.
Jesus is the Head – Just as the body depends on the head for direction and understanding, so we depend on Christ. We don’t need to know everything; He knows it all. Our comfort is not in our understanding but in His perfect wisdom.
So let’s rest in this truth: even when we don’t see the whole picture, Jesus does. And that is enough.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You that You know my sorrows, my needs, and my struggles. You are the Great Physician who heals, the Master who leads, and the Head who understands. Teach me to rest in Your wisdom even when I don’t understand my circumstances. Help me trust that Your plans are good and that You are always working for my good. I place my life in Your hands with confidence and peace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
