Read Isaiah 43:6
These simple yet powerful words are God’s call to move forward. We are often slow to obey, hesitant to act, or fearful to step out in faith—but the Lord says, “Keep not back.”
If you have not yet come to Christ, this is your invitation. Do not hold back because of guilt or fear. The way has been prepared by the precious blood of Jesus. Grace is waiting; forgiveness is certain for those who come. Do not let anything delay your surrender. Come just as you are, and find mercy at the cross.
If you already belong to Christ, then keep not back from deeper obedience. Join with God’s people in fellowship and service. Take part in baptism, communion, and community—not as rituals, but as expressions of love for your Savior. Use your gifts, time, and influence for His glory. Do not let fear or hesitation keep you from doing what He has called you to do.
Jesus never held back anything from us—He gave His life freely. How can we offer Him less than all? Let us go forward with courage, generosity, and devotion. Let nothing—timidity, doubt, comfort, or complacency—keep us from growing in faith and leading others closer to Him.
Reflection for Today
What am I holding back from God? Is it my full surrender, my time, my gifts, or my witness?
Prayer
Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve hesitated to follow Your call. Teach me to move forward in faith, trusting that You go before me. Help me to give You everything—my heart, my strength, and my service—without fear or delay.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
