All for My Beloved

The bride in this verse longs to offer her Beloved—Christ—all the fruits of her life. Her heart is a garden filled with pleasant fruits, both new and old, and she joyfully lays them all at His feet.

This is the mark of a true believer: a heart that desires to give Jesus everything—our past devotion, our present obedience, and our future hopes. Every prayer, every act of love, every moment of surrender becomes a fragrant fruit offered to Him.

We too have new fruits—fresh gratitude for new mercies, renewed love stirred by His grace, and new commitments to walk in His will. Each day brings another chance to bear something beautiful for Christ.

And we also have old fruits—memories of His faithfulness through the years, the sweetness of our first love when He saved us, the trust we’ve built through trials, and the lessons learned through tears. These are treasures we can still offer back to Him with joy.

But the key is this: they are all for Him. Our fruit—our love, our service, our praise—is not for display, not for men to admire, but for our Beloved alone. The secret garden of the heart belongs to Jesus. Every good thing that grows there is His, for He planted, watered, and nourished it by His own blood.

So today, as you look at your life—both the new works God is doing and the old graces He has sustained—say with all your heart:
“All that I have, and all that I am, are laid up for You, my Beloved.”

Life Application
Dedicate every fruit of your life—your talents, time, and victories—to Jesus alone.
Treasure both the new things God is doing and the old ways He has proven faithful.
Keep your spiritual “garden” private and pure—offered only to the One who loves you most.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, my Beloved, Every good thing in me has come from You. The love, the faith, the fruit of my life—I lay them all at Your feet. Keep my heart as Your garden, and let no pride or self-seeking steal what is Yours. Thank You for new mercies each day, and for old graces that still bear fruit. May every season of my life bring You pleasure, for You alone are worthy of all that I have and am. All for You, my Beloved. Amen.
