It’s amazing how quickly time flies. Just like that—through the highs and the lows, one thing has remained unchanging:
The Lord has been so, so good.
All praise to Him!
Recently, I came across a beautiful song that has deeply touched my heart. It’s called “So Good to Me” by Charlotte Ritchie. And honestly, it’s become one of those songs—the ones that feel like they were written just for you, at just the right time.
Here’s the part of the song that impacted me most:
You are so good to me
You love me faithfully
I don’t deserve this kind of love
I can’t explain the wonder of
Why You are so good to meYour love is a mystery
Who would believe that You are so good to me
Every time I hear those words, I’m reminded of the depth of God’s love for me. I don’t deserve it—and yet, He gives it freely. His mercy, His patience, His faithfulness… they carry me every single day.
The lyrics continue:
I know Your love is pure and simple
And when I cross the line You redefine mercy
I know Your arms are always open
You are the One I place my hope in
And when I’m not good enough, You’re still good to me
Isn’t that just the heart of who Jesus is?
Looking back, I’ve had my share of both mountaintop moments and deep valleys. There were days of joy, and days when tears spoke louder than words. But through it all, God never left. His goodness wasn’t based on how well I performed or how strong I felt—it was based on who He is.
Even now, I find myself repeating again and again:
Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord.
A thousand times wouldn’t be enough.
If there’s one message I want this post to carry, it’s this:
Jesus is good—even when we’re not. Even when life isn’t. Even when we don’t understand.
His love is undeserved, yet constant.
His mercy is endless.
His presence is our strength.
We can step forward with peace in our hearts, because His Word says:
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
So, dear friend—be comforted. Be strengthened. No matter what everyday looked like for you, God has been faithful, and He will continue to be. Let your heart rest in the truth that His goodness is not just a part of your past—it’s also in your present and your future.
That’s Him.
That’s my Jesus.
And He’s so, so good to me.
