Read Ezra 7:22
Salt in the Old Testament offerings symbolized purity, preservation, and the sustaining power of God’s grace. When King Artaxerxes gave salt to Ezra, he did so without limit. Similarly, God’s grace is never limited—He provides freely and abundantly to all who come to Him.
Sometimes we feel our spiritual resources are small, but in Christ there is no shortage. The more we seek Him, the more He gives. We can never have “too much” grace. More grace brings joy, strength, and wisdom, unlike worldly wealth, which can increase worry and sorrow. The salt of God’s Spirit preserves our hearts, purifies our lives, and empowers us to overcome sin.
Believer, approach God’s throne boldly and ask for a full measure of His grace. It is freely offered, generously given, and sufficient for every trial, every temptation, and every need.
Prayer:Lord, I thank You for the abundant grace You pour into my life. Teach me to rely fully on You, to seek Your Spirit without limit, and to be strengthened, preserved, and purified by Your power. Fill me with the salt of Your grace, so that my life may honor You and resist the corruption of sin. Amen.
