Knock and Receive

Imagine a place where anyone in need can simply knock, and all their needs are met. That’s what Jesus offers to every sinner: an open invitation to His mercy. His “Hospital of the Cross” provides everything we need—bread for the hungry, cleansing for the stained soul, and garments to clothe and protect us. Beyond that, He equips us for life and spiritual battles: armor for protection, a sword and shield for defense, and a sure inheritance that lasts forever.

The amazing truth is this: all of these blessings are available simply by asking. Jesus invites us to bring our needs, our sins, our weaknesses, and even our dreams, and to knock boldly on His mercy. No hesitation, no embarrassment, no lack of faith should keep us from receiving what He has promised. He delights to give generously to those who seek Him.

Reflection for Today
Am I knocking boldly on the door of Jesus’ mercy, asking for all He promises? Do I believe that He wants to supply my needs fully, both now and for eternity?

Prayer
Lord Jesus, I come to You today, asking boldly for Your mercy, Your provision, and Your grace. Cleanse me, clothe me, equip me, and satisfy the desires of my heart according to Your perfect will. Teach me to trust Your promises fully and to knock with confidence, knowing You delight to give. Amen.
