Faith Finds a Way

Faith is creative and determined. When the friends of the paralyzed man found the way to Jesus blocked, they refused to give up. Instead, they climbed the roof, broke it open, and lowered their friend down before the Lord. Their bold and desperate act showed a faith that would not be stopped.

Sometimes, ordinary methods don’t work. Sometimes, reaching people for Christ requires us to go beyond what feels safe, comfortable, or proper. It may involve risk, hard work, or even criticism from others—but when a soul needs Jesus, faith refuses to let obstacles stand in the way.

The world is constantly inventing new things to meet human desires. Shouldn’t faith be just as inventive in bringing the lost to Christ? The presence of Jesus is what gave courage to those four friends, and His presence today should stir us to the same determination. If we have experienced His power in our own lives, then nothing—no crowd, no barrier, no difficulty—should stop us from bringing others to Him.

Faith finds a way. Love for souls breaks through walls. And when Christ is present, any effort to bring people to Him is worth it.

Prayer
Lord, give me a bold and creative faith that will not be stopped by obstacles. Teach me to care so deeply for others that I will do whatever it takes to bring them to You. Use me today as an instrument of hope and courage, and help me to trust that no effort made for Your glory is ever wasted. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
