Jesus Is The Light Of Heaven

Take a moment to picture heaven, filled with the brightest and most beautiful light—not from the sun or the moon, but from Jesus Himself, the Lamb of God. He is the light of that eternal place, and everything in heaven shines because of Him.

In the Bible, light often represents joy—and in heaven, our joy will overflow. Why? Because of Jesus. He’s the One who chose us, loved us, died for us, washed away our sins, gave us new life, and brought us safely home. Everything we have in eternity will be because of Him. Each of these truths is like tasting the sweetest fruit—deep, satisfying joy in the presence of Jesus.

Light also brings out beauty. Without light, even the most precious jewels look dull. In the same way, any beauty or glory we will have in heaven doesn’t come from us—it comes from Jesus. Like the moon reflects the sun, we will reflect the glory of Christ. If His light were to go out (which it never will), we would have no beauty or life.

Light stands for knowledge too. Here on earth, there are many things we don’t understand—hard times, unanswered questions, confusing moments. But in heaven, everything will make sense. Jesus, the Lamb, will be our Teacher. All the things that once puzzled us will become clear in His presence.

Light also reveals what’s hidden—it brings manifestation. Right now, we don’t fully see or understand what we are becoming in Christ. But one day, when we stand before Him, Jesus will transform us completely. From stained and struggling to shining and glorious. All because of His love.

In the center of all the glory of heaven, Jesus will be the focus. All the light, joy, wisdom, and beauty will come from Him. What a powerful, radiant Savior!

Oh, how amazing it will be to stand in His presence and see Him face-to-face—our King, our Lamb, our Light.
