Read Psalms 65:11
God’s blessings never stop. Every hour of every day—whether we’re awake or asleep—His goodness surrounds us. While the sun may set and leave us in the dark, God’s love never fades. His kindness flows like a river that never runs dry. Just like the air that constantly surrounds us and gives us life, God’s mercy is always present, holding us up, even when we don’t realize it.
Sometimes, God’s love feels especially strong—like the warmth of the sun in summer or a river overflowing after heavy rain. These are moments when His grace is more visible, more overwhelming. One of those special times is the harvest season.
Harvest is a time of joy and fulfillment. After months of planting and waiting, the crops are finally ready to be gathered. It’s not just about the food—it’s a symbol of God’s faithfulness and provision. The psalmist says that harvest is like a crown on the year—a beautiful reminder of how God has taken care of us from beginning to end.
And when God crowns our year with blessings, how should we respond?
With thanksgiving.
Let’s take time to pause and reflect on His goodness. Let our hearts be filled with gratitude—not just in words, but in action. Let’s praise Him with our lips, but also give back with our lives. Whether through worship, generosity, or service, let’s honor the One who fills our lives with good things.
This year—through every season—God has been faithful. Now, let’s crown it with thanks.
