Read I John 3:1
Life has a way of sweeping us up, doesn’t it? But today, I return—not with updates or stories—but with a quiet burden in my spirit. I feel compelled to write… for you.
Yes, you.
Maybe you’re scrolling through life with an aching heart. Maybe you’ve been holding back tears, silently asking, “Does God still see me? Am I still loved by Him?” And if that’s you today, please lean in close. This message is for me and you.
There are days—perhaps more than we’d like to admit—when our hearts whisper questions we’re too ashamed to say aloud.“Why hasn’t anything changed?”“Why do I feel so alone?”“Is it really true that He loves me?”
We all wrestle with those thoughts. Circumstances shift like waves, voices around us become noise, and suddenly our gaze drops from Heaven to the heaviness of earth. We forget. We forget the very core of our identity: we are deeply, eternally loved.
But here’s the unwavering truth: our feelings are not our foundation—His Word is.
“The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.’” – Jeremiah 31:3
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” – 1 John 3:1
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.” – 1 John 3:16
Let those words soak in.
Everlasting.Lavished.Laid down His life.
These aren’t casual phrases. These are divine declarations. His love isn’t based on how good you’ve been, how much you’ve prayed, or how many Scriptures you’ve memorized. It’s anchored in the cross—where Jesus said, “You are worth it.”
Dr. Charles Stanley once wrote:
“Long ago I came to the total assurance that God loves me, God knows where I am every second of every day, and God is bigger than any problem life’s circumstances can throw at me.”
And Craig Hill put it beautifully:
“God’s answer to the question of identity (‘Who am I?’) is: ‘I love you. You mean everything to Me. You are worth the life of My Son, Jesus Christ.’”
You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. You are not forsaken. You are deeply loved.
And when this love becomes more than a verse—when it becomes the very air we breathe—our hearts change. Like Eleze Lisa said:
“When you have known—intimately known—the embracing presence of God, His love rubs off on you and you can’t help seeing everyone through His eyes.”
So, beloved, if the days feel dark and the silence deafening, lift your eyes. There is a Savior who has not stopped loving you for a single second. Nothing—not failure, fear, or even your doubts can separate you from His love. Not now. Not ever.
“Receive His divine love today,” Kristin Reeg writes, “and release the need to control every situation. His peace will cover you.”
As we rest in that truth, may our hearts echo this humble cry:
“I want to love You, Lord—more and more and more.”
Because when we truly know how much He loves us, we begin to love Him in return—not out of duty, but out of delight.
